The Royal Wedding

Prince Harry & Meghan Markle

19th May – St George Chapel at Windsor Castle

The Royal Wedding in May 2018 seems to have the whole world very excited but I bet they are not as excited as ourselves, Windsor has been going Royal wedding mad.

The preparations have begun really early, in fact as soon as the announcements were made to hold it in St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.  The Castle itself is having some needed amendments and cleaning completed in certain areas, not that it needed to much anyway, in order to be ready for this big historic event.

Prince Harry & Meghan Markle have supposedly visited the castle quite regularly, working out the preparations for the day.

We thought we would give you some “need to know” facts about the wedding day so that you are super prepared in advance.

1. The marriage of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is to be at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle at 12pm.

2. After they are married in the Chapel, the Royal couple will undertake a carriage procession from St George’s Chapel through Windsor Town and returning to Windsor Castle along the Long Walk.  Our Luxury Townhouse will have the perfect view of this spectacular event, see here.

3. Following the carriage procession there will be a reception at St George’s Hall for the couple and guests from the congregation.

4. Later in the evening, the Prince of Wales will give a private evening reception for the couple and their close friends and family.

We are thrilled that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have chosen to have their wedding in Windsor, we love our historic town and everything that it brings.  We believe that it is truly a town for everyone.
